Hiring Locksmith Technicians

Alford Safe & Lock Company Inc is hiring locksmith technicians. Technicians on our team have many job duties. A technician:

• Installs, repairs, rebuilds, and services mechanical or electrical locking devices using hand tools and special equipment
• Disassembles locks, such as padlocks, safe locks, and door locks, and repairs or replaces worn tumblers, springs, and other parts
• Inserts new or repaired tumblers into locks to change the combination
• Cuts new or duplicate keys using a key cutting machine
• Moves the lockpick in a cylinder to open door locks without keys
• Opens safe locks by drilling
• May keep records of company locks and keys

Pay starts at $18 per hour. Other benefits include:

• Paid time off
• Eight-hour shifts
• Supplemental pay through bonuses and tips

Other requirements include:

• High school education or equivalent (preferred)
• Driver's license (preferred)
